At King’s Community Church, we have a number of groups that meet mid-week. It offers a opportunity for people to connect with one another and share in each other’s lives. Our Connect groups cover all ages and a wide variety of activities and meeting times.
The aim is our Connect groups is simple: Fun, Food and Fellowship.
You will find a brief description of our groups below:
Bang and Botch It
A group which meets on Wednesday mornings – about once a month – to fix stuff!
A group for women of all ages who long to grow in their faith. We meet on Wednesday evenings at various locations. A friendly and supportive bunch who love to grow deeper together in faith.
A group of women who meet weekly on Tuesday mornings to encourage each other in our walk with Jesus. We also go into local primary schools as the “Open the Book” team – re-telling bible stories through accessible drama.
A mixed gender group that meet fortnightly on a Wednesday evening. We focus on prayer, bible study and supporting one another. This group uses British Sign Language so all members can participate fully.
A friendly group of mature women who meet weekly on Wednesday afternoons for cake, worship and bible study.
Band of Brothers
A group of men meeting fortnightly on Thursday evenings to have fun, build friendships and encourage each other in their walk with God.
A caring and supportive mixed gender group of all ages and backgrounds who meeting fortnightly on Wednesdays evenings to support each other and navigate the complexities of life.
Our aim is that these groups will help you feel welcome at King’s Community Church.
